A "Birth Day" poem
Birth Day
Today is the Last day
I will hold you in my womb,
Today is the First day
I will hold you in my arms.
Today is the Last day
You will kick me from inside,
Today is the First day
I will see what you look like.
Today is the Last day
My belly will have the hiccups,
Today is the First day
I will hear your tiny voice.
Today is the Last day
You will roll around inside me,
Today is the First day
I will kiss your tiny cheek.
Today is the Last day
I will wonder what you look like,
Today is the First day
I will know the color of your eyes.
Today is the Last day
I will hear your little heartbeat,
Today is the First day
You’ll cry, and eat, and breathe.
Today is the Last day
I’ll hug you from inside,
Today is the First day
I’ll hug you when you cry.
Today is the Last day
I’ll love you, yet unseen,
Today is the First day
I’ll love you face to face.
Happy Birthday!

SHE'S HERE!!
Our precious daughter was born on December 4 at 3:00pm, one day before her due date! Her name is Clara Ann and she weighed 7 lbs. 6 oz. and was 19 3/8 inches long. There were no complications and I was able to have a totally unmedicated birth at the birth center with a midwife attending, along with a birth assistant and a dear friend, plus my sweet husband. All were so supportive and helped me to be comfortable during my labor and the birth. Soon, I will write out my birth story and maybe share it online.
We rejoice over the gift that the Lord has given our family. My boys admire her so much, reveling over her tiny hands which they love to hold. They are being such good helpers around the house when they aren't holding and loving their baby sister.
Life is good!
God is good!
