A Blonde Moment

Apparently, it has been awhile since I have mentioned on my blog WHERE we moved to when we left Croatia....

Well, I won't keep you in suspense any longer.

I won't give out my exact location, but we live in the northern part of the state... in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

We love Texas! I'm rather fond of saying, "We aren't from Texas, but we got here as fast as we could!"

We have several friends here in France that are from Texas (oil people mostly) and at least 3 friends have a particular bumper sticker (although none have it on their car - for good reason) that has the same picture of Texas and then a picture of the country of France with blue/white/red strips that match the French flag, with the words- "Texas - it's bigger than France!"
Good luck with the rest of the move! Does Clara just love all of the empty boxes?

Katie, that is hilarious! There is something about Texans. They really love their state and they want everyone to know it.
Clara seems to be happier with the stuff coming out of the boxes right now, since she hasn't seen most of it for a month or more!

Wow, everybody that goes to Texas or is from there raves about it. Who knows maybe we'll end up there next (we find out next month where we go). I'm sure you'll find a lot to do where you're at! I have a good online friend in the Dallas area, if you want I can hook you up with her (she's a fellow homeschooler with some boys herself, and even a baby girl that may be about Clara's age).
